Weekly Pay Range - $2126 To $2362 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week for 3-12s Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid state license required at the time of submission. Illinois is not a compact state, and it is necessary to have a license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications: ACLS, NIH, and BCLS Required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Job Description: - Provide nursing care in a telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:5-6- First-time candidates accepted- Required to work every other weekend- No on-call requirements- Clinician will float within their scope to meet facility needs- Not open to accommodating block schedules- Must assist with bedside procedures including line insertion and thoracentesis- Experience with cardiac drips is required- Completion of 40 orientation hours required- Compliance requirements include fitting testing, SSN, and DOB verification- Up to 7 days of Requested Time Off allowed per 13-week contract- Two supervisory references preferred within the last two years- Must adhere to facility policies regarding facial hair for fit testing- Traveler cannot reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility- Background policy: No medical marijuana cards accepted- Must complete pre-start modules through WorkRampAll travelers will float within the service line, and orientation consists of 40 hours at 50% non-billable. Candidates with RN degrees obtained outside of the U.S. and without MO/IL/Compact licenses require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. Permanent employees must wait one year before returning to any facility as a traveler. Note: Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only. COVID-19 vaccine not required.
