The leading game company in charitable fund raising is hiring a Quality Assurance Lead in Las Vegas, NV.This position is responsible for developing and executing tests on new and existing gaming products to ensure that they meet the requisite functional, technical, and regulatory compliance and maintain high overall product quality of hand-held devices and electronic gaming machines.Primary Roles and Responsibilities Develop, review and execute test plans and scripts for new and existing game systems Submit and track issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved Provide detailed Completion Report at the end of each project and verify this report for projects assigned to all team SQA Engineers Interface with the Software Engineering Department and other members of the Product Support Engineering Department to resolve all reported issues before the gaming product is released. Assist other SQA Engineers in this area with their projects Attend and lead Integration and SQA handoff meetings Establish and manage all required databases for SQA functions and testing. Responsible for all project escalations for each assigned project Mentor, lead and assist multiple SQA Engineers on multiple projects some of whom may be direct reports Review project hardware requirements and ensure that necessary hardware is in place for each assigned project Provide a weekly project status report for each project assigned to the team Organizing and lead project team meetings and reviews Assist the SQA Department on special projects Work with upstream organizations that have a direct impact on SQA Introduce and lead SQA process improvement initiativesExperience and Education Experience in leading SQA teams through a projects complete test life cycle Experience in deriving system test plans/cases from system requirements Software Test methodology and product development lifecycle Knowledge and experience using Visual Studio Academic and/or work experience with C and/or C++ 7+ years of relevant SQA work experience Position requires excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members Ability to lead and mentor multiple projects and SQA Engineers simultaneously Advanced time management and organizational skills Capable of providing input and solutions on specific or project wide issues Ability to evaluate SQA Engineer performance and provide feedback to Manager Detailed oriented and capable of working and leading with minimal supervision Able to work and deliver in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment Expertise with TestRails and JIRA Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Proficiency of Agile methodologies Results oriented, risk taking and extensive multi-tasking abilityPreferred Experience Automation experience is a plus Real-time embedded systems preferred Gaming industry experience preferred BS/BA Engineering or Computer Science preferred Knowledge or experience with Perl or other shell scripting language is a plusBenefits: Medical, dental, vision and life insurance Health savings account 401(k) match Profit sharing Paid vacation plus company shut-down weekLocation Location is in-office in Las Vegas Nevada Relocation assistance is availableAbout this Company:Make a difference and join the game company driving revenue for veteran and community service organizations across the US.
