Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, CPI (within 30 days) Must-Have: 2-3 years Emergency Department Experience Job Description: - Work in a 19-bed Emergency Department with an additional 6 hall and 6 sub-waiting room spaces- Patient ratios of 1:5- Support from ED Techs, secretaries, AEMTs, and paramedics- Utilize equipment such as GE Monitors, Lucas 3, Glidescope, EV 1000, and Level 1 Infuser- Document in Meditech system- Adhere to scheduling requirements, including weekend/holiday rotation- Use whiteboards and communication to enhance patient and family experience- Perform procedures including moderate sedation, central line placement, chest tube placement, IV insertion, lab draws, POC testing, EKGs, and respiratory treatments- Comply with dress code: Dark Blue Scrubs- Part of a department with stroke certification, cath lab, and trauma level 3 recognitionWe are looking for a dedicated professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and can handle the fast-paced environment of an emergency department efficiently.
