SIMOS is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead for a large distribution center in Suffolk, VA! This position is responsible for coordinating associate activities in the production process and will monitor associates' performance. The ideal candidate will be committed to coaching team members and improving the worksite's training, productivity, quality, safety, and attendance. The Warehouse Team Lead assists the supervisor with setting up daily/weekly work assignments for staff.
Shift Information:Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm ($18.50 per hour)Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:30pm ($19.82 per hour)Must be flexible with shift availabilityPerks & Benefits

Job Responsibilities
A minimum of 1 year of warehouse systems or operations knowledge is required.Assist shift supervisor in day-to-day operations as neededCommunicate effectively with supervisor and client operationsTrain new hires in all available departmentsMonitor performance & safety for every associateAssist supervisor and operations in ongoing tasks to service the client on-siteGreat tactfulness and attendance are a mustModerate work with computers and integrated operating systemsProvides information regarding associate performance and concerns to the supervisor for appropriate evaluation and actionPeople skills are a mustAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. safely and repetitively and lift 71-150 lbs. as a teamAbility to stand and move on your feet throughout the duration of a 10-12-hour shiftPerform general labor and warehouse duties as assignedMaintain production expectations and goals assigned by the supervisorOperate equipment : Pallet Jack and Clamp
