OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for a Warehouse Associate I who will play an essential role in our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including receiving, sorting, packing, and shipping materials. Your attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive incoming materials and supplies, verifying accuracy and quality against purchase orders or delivery documentsSort and organize materials in designated locations, ensuring proper storage and easy accessibilityPack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timelinessUtilize warehouse management systems or manual documentation to record inventory transactions and maintain accurate recordsAssist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of materialsConduct inventory counts and assist in performing regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracyFollow established procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environmentCollaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse processes and enhance productivityMaintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of packaging materialsAssist in other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by supervisorsRequirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not requiredDetail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accuratelyPhysical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objectsBasic computer skills to utilize inventory management systems or other warehouse softwareStrong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and supervisorsAbility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyFlexibility to work different shifts and overtime as neededFamiliarity with warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts, is a plus but not requiredCommitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment and following established safety protocolsEDUCATION
