Job Description:
OBJECTIVE:
MDCPS seeks an experienced professional with a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiplebusiness processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to providequality work to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment tomeet customer needs. Demonstrates expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions on moderately complexconfigurations. Effectively consults with management. Participate in business development activities. Develop detailedsolutions for rather involved projects.POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is full-time (40 hours weekly) and requires an individual to direct the implementation of a new CCWISCloud-Based hosted solution. This individual will also provide project management services to the CIO and the agencyexecutive staff on other projects when required.Major Responsibilities
-IT Project Management;-Project Documentation;-Plan, Organize, and Lead Project Meetings;-Other IT-related tasks as agreed upon by the parties;-IT Procurement consultation;-Coordinate the PMO team.To be considered, all proposed consultants must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Ten (10) years of IT Project Management experience- Five (7) years of IT Integration experience- Four (7) years of managing software implementation projects- Excellent English-speaking skills, written communication skills, and knowledge transfer skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience in Child Welfare processes and workflowsExperience with federal requirements for Child Welfare management systemsAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to build a positive rapport with team membersAbility to manage conflict between team members and vendorsAbility to manage changes in objectives with little to no noticeExperience developing and maintaining meticulous documentation of project activities
