Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union is offering a sign-on bonus for the Mortgage Servicing Collector position! New hires will receive $250 in their first paycheck, $500 following 90 days of employment, and $500 following six months of employment (applicable taxes and withholdings).

The Mortgage Servicing Collector is responsible for contacting members who have gone delinquent on their mortgage and/or commercial loan(s) in an effort to collect payments and/or negotiate payment plans, while providing excellent member service. In addition, will ensure all commercial and mortgage servicing time lines are met, and loss mitigation options are reviewed and discussed with risk borrowers. The Mortgage Servicing Collector will also support the Remarketing Analyst with mortgage consignments, vehicle transportation, title releases and assigned auction support activities with vehicle consignments.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Provide excellent and considerate member serviceMaintain a high volume of outbound and inbound phone callsCollect payments on past due mortgage and/or commercial loans and negotiate payment plansReview member status for possible loss mitigation optionsMonitor queue reports to effectively manage delinquent mortgage portfolioInitiate foreclosure proceedings when applicableInitiate mortgage servicing initiatives when applicableIdentify and recommend loans for site visits or inspectionManage account restrictions and member's account servicesConclude and perform auto sales and real estate closing transactionsGenerate written communication when applicableAll other duties as assigned (Note: essential functions and responsibilities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice)Requirements:

High School Diploma or G.E.D.Minimum of 1 year collections or call center experienceGeneral knowledge of the bankruptcy and foreclosure processGeneral knowledge of collection lawsDetailed knowledge of various mortgage loan products (pertaining to bankruptcy, collections, foreclosure)Ability to maintain and exceed collector performance metric goalsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesStrong attention to detailCommitment to excellent customer/member serviceExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesBasic user level knowledge of Microsoft Office
