Seattle Colleges is looking to hire three Executive Directors for the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Community offices for North, South and Central campuses EDIC. Salary Range:

$119,970.00 to $165,671.00 annually (the expected starting annual rate of pay for this position is up to $145,000.00 depending on experience and qualifications).

What you will be working on:

Essential Functions:

Provide oversight in operationalizing organizational and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDIC) strategies.

Provide oversight and leadership for the development and implementation of proactive initiatives to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Provide strategic leadership in the development of culturally specific and culturally responsive policy and service delivery models.

Oversee the tracking, trends, and report metrics that will measure the effectiveness of diversity initiatives.

Collaborate with community to develop programming that meets the goals of the department and District.

Foster and maintain relationships with college and community partners.

Oversee equity and inclusion initiatives, and lead, facilitate, partner, and participate in trainings and events.

Facilitate and strengthen community building and networks for students and employees.

Assist and partner with Human Resources to strengthen recruitment and retention efforts.

Collaborate with AVC EDIC and Office of Institutional Effectiveness to continuously evaluate EDIC programming.

Engage in shared governance in campus groups and committees.

What you bring as a candidate:

Master's degree in social sciences, education, human services, or related field, OR equivalent education/experience and five (5) or more years of progressively responsible equity, diversity, and inclusion experience.

Experience in higher education or state government.

Experience with antiracism training and assessments.

Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Demonstrated leadership experience in building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.

Supervisory experience.
