Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager (Global) to lead and manage a comprehensive range of human resources activities across our US and international teams. This role is critical in driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence, ensuring our HR practices support the organization's growth while fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic leader, adept at managing the complexities of global HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement, and has a deep understanding of the technology sector or start-up environment. This is an in-office role at our San Francisco, CA headquarters.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts to attract and onboard top global talent, including strategic workforce planning, applicant screening, interviewing, and employee orientation.

Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, shaping a dynamic, inclusive workplace culture that promotes innovation and collaboration across international teams.

Oversee US-based benefits programs and collaborate with international partners to ensure competitive and compliant benefits administration for global teams.

To enhance employee satisfaction and retention, develop and implement global engagement initiatives, including pulse surveys and action plans.

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and international labor laws, reduce organizational risk, and address emerging HR challenges.

Act as a trusted advisor and mediator in employee relations matters, fostering an environment of transparency, respect, and productivity across global offices.

Manage the performance management system, facilitating goal setting, feedback, and employee development across all levels.

Partner with finance to administer competitive compensation structures globally, ensuring alignment with market trends and company goals.

Maintain accurate HR records, including onboarding, offboarding, employee benefits, and compliance data, utilizing HRIS systems such as BambooHR.

Oversee visa processes and global mobility.

Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and supporting professional growth.

Requirements

Strong experience with global HR operations, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations.

Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR) and other tools like Google Suite, Lattice, and ATS platforms like BreezyHR.

Proven track record of partnering with executive teams to shape company policies and HR strategies.

In-depth knowledge of US employment laws and familiarity with international labor regulations.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.

Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams and projects, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Experience in technology or a high-growth, fast-paced environment is highly desirable.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certification preferred).

High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.

The total compensation for this role is between $120,000 - $155,000

This salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation for this position in California. Actual salary offers may vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.
