This role leads the design, implementation, and administration of compensation policies and practices to ensure competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with business objectives. The position manages a small team and collaborates with HR partners and business leaders to deliver effective compensation solutions that attract, retain, and motivate employees.What You'll Do:Develop and manage broad-based compensation processes, programs, and policiesAnalyze market data and internal equity to make recommendations on salary structures, pay practices, and program designPartner with HR Business Partners and leaders to provide compensation guidance and support for employee-related decisionsManage the global annual compensation planning process, including merit, bonus, and long-term incentive programsOversee the administration of the corporate compensation email box, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiriesDirect the participation in and submission of global salary surveys to maintain competitive market dataWhat You'll Need:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience5+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 2 years in a management roleStrong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly ExcelExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMaster’s degree in human resources or related field (preferred)Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification (preferred)Experience with HRIS and compensation management systemsKnowledge of global compensation practicesWhat You Can Expect:Univar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning, construction, and more.
