Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
Candidates will palletize and shrink wrap products, clean and sanitize work stations, move products and materials with a manual pallet jack, and weigh products before they are brought to the warehouse. They will read and record digital weights on a small scale, and move filled bags that can weigh up to 50 lbs. For weights over 50 lbs, two employees are required by company policy. Candidates will also push and pull bowls weighing up to 1,000 lbs on wheels, moving at least 8 bowls per shift. This is a fully on-site position in Owatonna, Minnesota.Work Environment
Small town/family-like environment with 30 full-time employees. Safety and GMPs are highly important. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, hair net, eye protection, jeans, shirt, bump cap, and lab coat. No smoking/tobacco products, perfume/cologne, fingernail polish, jewelry, or piercings allowed. Clothing must be free of rips, tears, holes, or added embellishments. It can be hot in the summer (up to 90 degrees) and comfortable in the winter. Hours are 6:00am-4:30pm (M-Th) or 4:00pm-2:30am (M-Th). Must be willing to work OT on Fridays. Arrival 15 minutes prior to shift for temperature screening, which is paid.
