General Production Worker

**Aerotek is now hiring entry level General Production Worker at****a local manufacturing company in Faribault, MN!!****Starting wage of $19/hr. and up to** **$21/hr.** **depending on shift and experience!****Offering benefits such as 401k, health, dental, and vision****Job Description**The person will monitor a milk pasteurizing machine and ensure its proper operation. Responsibilities include checking temperatures and serving as the primary backup for the main operator. When not operating the machine, the person will work in other departments, including packaging and production. The role requires the ability to read temperature gauges and graphs.In the Caves Production area, candidates will bag and lift 35lb cheese wheels. The temperature in this area is 53 degrees, and daily sanitation support is required.In the Production area, the role is highly physical. Tasks include rotating between multiple positions such as shoveling/stirring milk in a VAT to remove liquid whey and curdling it into cheese curds. Each VAT takes 45 minutes of continuous hand stirring, and employees will handle 2 VATs per day. Additional tasks include packaging curds into cups and stacking totes of curds.**Hard Skills**+ 3+ months of manufacturing experience+ Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day+ Ability to read temperature gauges and graphs**Work Environment**Food manufacturing, cheese plant with a noticeable smell.
