Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Option of 36 or 48 hours Experience: 2 years required, first-time travelers accepted License: Valid RN license in compact states required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS and NIH required, BLS preferred Must-Have: Willingness to float to like units within scope as needed Job Description: - Work on the ICU night shifts, managing patient care and treatment.- Responsible for a patient ratio of 1:2 in a 32-bed unit.- Engage in rotating weekend work requirements.- Float to similar units depending on facility needs.- Ensure all required certifications are maintained and up to date.- Use the EPIC documentation system for recording patient information.- Participate in brief orientations for the unit and complete required modules during orientation (RN average of 4-6 hours).- Follow facility guidelines for rotating weekend shifts and case-by-case block scheduling.- Wear scrubs of any color without logos.
