Director of Food Services

Overview: Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) has been providing housekeeping, laundry, dining, and nutritional services in the healthcare market for over 45 years. The company values integrity, collaboration, empowerment, passion, and perseverance. They are currently seeking a Director of Food Services to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the food service program in a single site and ensuring food quality, inventory levels, and customer service meet company standards.
• Maintaining records of income, expenditures, food, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Providing training, quality control, and in-servicing staff to meet company standards.
• Effectively communicating directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to company staff.
• Utilizing protective gear in all appropriate functions and following safety and quality guidelines.
• Demonstrating positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks.
• Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
• Specialized training in food service management and nutrition required.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) course participant or certification as required by state and county law.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service, dining/nutrition, and personnel supervision desired.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain records and complete reports required.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
• Must live in the service area.
