The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting responsibilities related to the company's financial reporting and corporate accounting group. This position is accountable for preparing and posting transactions to the general ledger, perform account analysis, conduct account reconciliations, and assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports. The ideal candidate is a certified public accountant (CPA) with experience working for a large public accounting firm, and a self-starter capable of working independently. Must be knowledgeable in general ledger accounting, and capable of interacting with individuals throughout the organization.

Position Responsibilities may include:

Prepare and post transactions to the general ledger, perform account analysis, and conduct account reconciliations.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work product, proper accounting treatment of transactions, and adherence to best-practice documentation and review standards.Perform control activities to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley Act and maintain appropriate control documentation.Prepare workpapers that are organized, concise, cross-referenced, and supported by conclusions.Assist Financial Reporting Manager with preparation of ad hoc reporting and continual improvement.Ability to use reference materials in researching accounting issues.Perform other tasks as assignedNature & Scope:

3+ years of progressive accounting/finance experienceEducation/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in accounting required, Master's degree preferred.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
