As a Compliance Auditor/Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing compliance policies and procedures. You will work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal guidelines, helping to mitigate risks and supporting the company's strategic objectives.
Job DescriptionDevelop and implement effective compliance programsConduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies.Assess product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategiesDisseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activitiesVerify that all company and regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.Qualifications
Must reside in Virginia, Maryland, or DC area; this is a hybrid position based out of Ashburn, VirginiaProven experience as a Compliance Auditor/SpecialistIn-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulationsExcellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keepingMethodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilitiesAn analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulationsExcellent communication skillsAdditional Information
More than 5 years' work experience in the relevant industry.At least 3 years' experience as a regulatory compliance auditor/specialist, or similar.BS/BA in law, finance, business administration or related fieldCertified compliance professional is a plus
