The Mortgage Loan Officer 3 originates Portfolio, Conventional, FHA/VA, Jumbo and Construction mortgages for TDECU members. The Mortgage Loan Officer will expand TDECU's mortgage sales opportunities through branch referrals, realtor and builder referrals, telephone, and internet channels while ensuring an optimal member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Grow and maintain referral relationships with network of realtors, builders and members in association with the TDECU member base.

2. Take complete and accurate loan applications into the computerized mortgage system, providing members with all required disclosures, as well as obtaining all necessary support documents.

3. Pre-qualify members for the identified mortgage program/product and match them with TDECU mortgage products that best meet the member's needs.

4. Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with members in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.

5. Lock loans for members in accordance with TDECU policies and procedures. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all mortgage products and services, including forms and documentation for each type of loan.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED.Experience: Minimum 4+ years as a Mortgage Loan Officer with a proven track record of success. Experience with conventional, FHA, VA and jumbo mortgage products strongly preferred. Must qualify for NMLS licensing, be Safe Act compliant and be able to get licensed in the state in which you will be originating loans. Must have an NMLS registration number.
