Job Overview:

Pear Suite is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our growing team. As the first financial analyst, you will be instrumental in developing, managing, and optimizing our financial models, as well as ensuring accurate and timely revenue tracking and reporting. This role is ideal for a new graduate passionate about finance, eager to grow, and ready to contribute to the company's financial success by supporting strategic decision-making. You will work closely with various departments, utilizing your analytical skills to provide valuable insights and drive operational improvements.The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing data analysis, and assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning. This is a fully remote role with opportunities for career growth and mentorship from experienced finance professionals.

What you'll do

Responsibilities and Duties:

•Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, decision-making, and long-term planning•Assist in revenue tracking, including preparing, reviewing, and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual

financial reports•Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis and trends•Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure accuracy in financial reporting and data integrity•Collaborate with different teams across Pear Suite to align on financial objectives and ensure seamless

communication of financial data•Support the budget preparation and variance analysis processes to ensure financial goals are met•Assist with ad hoc financial analysis to support special projects or strategic initiatives•Help implement and improve financial systems and processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy

Skills and Aptitudes:

•Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail•Ability to develop, interpret, and explain financial data and models•Proficiency in financial analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets•Knowledge of revenue reporting processes and financial modeling techniques•Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, managing time and priorities effectively•Excellent communication skills to relay financial data to stakeholders across various teams•Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide creative solutions and adapt to new challenges•Eagerness to learn, grow, and take ownership of projects in a fast-paced, innovative company

Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)•Demonstrated experience (internships, projects, coursework) in financial modeling and analysis•Strong proficiency with financial software tools and Excel•Familiarity with financial reporting standards and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

•Prior internship or project experience in finance or accounting is a plus•Knowledge of financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) is a plus

The pay range for this role is:

65,000 - 80,000 USD per year (Remote - Los Angeles, US)
