The Team: This role is a part of the Inspection/Solderer team here on the production floor.The Role: Inspection includes verifying circuit boards, solder joints, correct component placement and being able to identify any other possible defects that affects form, fit or function of an electronic assembly. Soldering includes soldering components onto the circuit boards following the manufacturing instructions. This position may also include operating the selective solder machine. Responsibilities & QualificationsYou will spend your time:Inspecting boards to ensure the various parts were placed securely and correctlySoldering various parts on circuit boardsReport defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorPerform machine operations as neededMaintain clean and orderly workstations and equipmentFollow prescribed safety regulationsComplete tasks as designated by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervisionPerform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic toolsMay rotate to various workstations as requiredOther duties as assignedWe are excited about you if you have:Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and processesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to be on your feet for a 10-hour shift Team-orientatedDependableGood eye/hand coordinationStrong attention to detailAbility to work overtime with notice when necessary on weekdays and weekendsAbility to read and speak EnglishAbility to pass a pre-employment drug testMust be at least 16-17 years old (for minors under 18 years of age proof of age required) Parental permission required if under 18 years of agePhysical Demands: Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials (0-10 lbs.) up to 50% of time workedMust be able to lift up to 10-30 pounds, chest height up to 5% of time worked.
