Responsibilities of a Business Analyst duties and responsibilities include the ability to collect and analyze data for potential business expansion. Identify specific business opportunities. Influence stakeholders to support business projects. Lead projects and coordinating with other teams to produce better business outcomes. Testing business processes and recommending improvements. Additional Information: Local candidates will need to come to office 2x per week. Remote candidates are exempt. Contract to hire position Skill/Experience/Education Mandatory Skills Additional Responsibilities: 1. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and other Scrum rituals across all teams. 2. Track progress using sprint burn-down charts and project burn-down charts to ensure teams remain on track with their goals. 3. Schedule and lead Scrum rituals, ensuring that teams are focused on deliverables and resolving blockers. 4. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines align with business objectives. Education Requirements: •Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. •Advanced certifications or coursework in business analysis or project management (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI-PBA) are highly desirable. •Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)) is beneficial but not mandatory. •Ongoing education or certification in requirements analysis, process improvement, or related areas is a plus. Previous Experience: •5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation in a technical environment. •Proven experience in working closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into actionable requirements for development teams. •Demonstrated ability to define business processes, document user stories, and create detailed functional specifications to ensure the development teams understand the product goals. •Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure smooth product delivery. •Familiarity with Agile environments and ability to help facilitate Agile ceremonies (such as daily stand-ups and retrospectives), though the focus will remain on ensuring business requirements are met. •Experience in backlog management and working with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms to track progress and manage project tasks. •Strong communication skills to facilitate discussions between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity of requirements, prioritization, and timely delivery of features. •Experience driving continuous improvement efforts for business processes and ensuring that product development aligns with the organization's goals.
