POSITION SUMMARY:The New Jersey Devils (NHL) are adding to their Ticket Sales Leadership Team by seeking an Inside Sales Manager to provide leadership and mentorship to 12-15 entry level sales associates, responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and driving accountability, culture and results, amongst other responsibilities. The Inside Sales Manager will gain experience and exposure as they learn how to coach, lead and manage and build a foundation for their own personal career growth while directly supporting the growth of others.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:Recruit, interview, hire, train and develop Sales Associates with the focus of generating and increasing new sales revenueSupport growth of new sales revenue within full season, partial plan, group sales and premium salesLead, motivate, develop, and retain Sales Associate staff for future succession and opportunity within HBSEMonitor, manage and evaluate Sales Associate staff performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear sales revenue and training goals and follow up with Sales Associate staff with appropriate feedback and direction for developmentResponsible for initial on-sale events for new membership sales and group sales; timeline, e-marketing campaigns, in-game and external marketing integration, inventory management, and online activationDevelop department business plan, training strategy, scripts, policies and proceduresWork with other managers to develop strategic call campaigns, new sales packages and opportunities for new salesDevelop and maintain relationships with other departments including Creative, CRM, Game Operations, CRM and CommunityResolve seating problems/concerns/issues related to new salesPerform additional duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:
Must have at least 2+ years of experience in a senior sales position, with a track record of consistently achieving sales goals/targetsBachelor's Degree, Business, Communications or Sport Management preferredProficiency in basic software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Proficiency in Archtics or similar ticketing software a plusMust be organized, creative, hard-working, analytical and possess excellent listening skillsMust be able to work long hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.OUR BENEFITS:
