Group/DivisionThe Customer Engagement (CE) team is our field based, customer facing organization consisting of Technical Engagement Managers and Application Engineers. The team partners closely with our customers to provide a comprehensive portfolio of products, software, and expertise, to help customers manage yield throughout their fabrication process-from research and development to final volume production. Responsibilities of this group include maintaining strategic client relationships, partnering with our sales team in identifying and closing sales opportunities, ensuring our products meet performance capabilities & expectations, providing critical solutions for improved yield performance, and collecting requirements for future products by understanding customer processes and technology trends. Partnering with our sales organization and factory divisions, this diverse and dynamic team helps ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Job Description/Preferred QualificationsResponsibilitiesResponsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilitiesMakes presentations on all aspects of productsAssists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer technical requirements and preparing detailed product specificationsImplements customer installation plansProvides follow-up support in training customers and disseminating technical information on specific applicationsWorks on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation, design of experiments, and communication between customers and specialistsExercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining resultsPreferred QualificationsMS / Ph.D. preferred in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Optics, Material Science or a related field.Candidate should have experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry, or equivalent experience and educationCandidate must be well organized and professional with strong project management skills - including the ability to manage numerous projects at onceCandidate shows persistence and dedication to understanding and solving critical customer problemsCandidate will have strong analytical problem solving skillsTeamwork is critical so having a good balance between technical skills and people skills is a must.Experience with Data analysis tools (Excel, JMP or equivalent)Semiconductor device application and characterizationPhotolithography and Overlay (IBO, DBO, SEM -OVL)Familiar with cleanroom protocols.Minimum QualificationsMaster's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 yearsThe company offers a total rewards package that is competitive and comprehensive including but not limited to the following: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.KLA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
