PRIMARY PURPOSE:Information Systems, support and maintain Computer Equipment and Software/Phonesdescription of Essential duties:

Provide on site day to day IT support. This job is a on site position.Owns the Day to day operation of all Information Systems and all IT Infrastructure including the mill phone system.Work with Corporate IT to maintain Internet, MPLS and other systems connected to our Wan.Maintains Servers (physical and virtual), switches, ethernet cabling, LAN, Wan, Printers and copiers, as well as all other IT related hardware.Install and support corporate antivirus software and ensure deployment and functionality of any security utilities or patches deemed appropriate by corporate security.Create and maintain user accounts in a Microsoft Active Directory environment.Responsible for support and maintenance of application servers running MS SQL Server or another database.Install and support Office 365, Windows 10/11 workstations, Windows Servers, and VMware ESXi environment.Maintains mill security camera system, DVR server, and any remote viewing stations and remote viewing software.Maintain and support local phone system.Setup and support all company owned mobile devices and mobile applications (email, SAP Concur, MS Multifactor Authentication, etc.)Provide training for all new hardware and software that is used on site and perform network orientations for new hires at the site.Responsible for maintaining server room environment (climate control systems, PDU, and backup power systems - generator and UPS')Respond to IT requests through corporate IT helpdesk software and document all IT hardware/software changesWork with IT vendors and contractors for warranty hardware repairs, cabling, large installations or modifications affecting IT Infrastructure, ect...Support all PLC computers, HMIs/MMIs, and associated peripheral equipment and work with and support the mill's process control technicians.Backup of all servers including phone's and responsible for operation and maintenance of onsite and cloud corporate backup systems.Work with the rest of the IT team on an on call rotation for after hours supportKey expectations supporting organizational structure:

Computer troubleshooting knowledge and skills including MS active directory, current Windows desktop and server operating systems, Cisco and HP switches, software, phone systems (mobile and landline)Working knowledge of VMWare ESXi environment operations and maintenanceSoft Skills: good written and verbal communication, dealing with frustrated customers internal and external, working as a team, able to work unsupervised, able to train/educate users of various skill levelsAble to keep up to date on new and emerging technologies.direct reports:
