General Summary
Performs comprehensive assessments of the management, operational, and technical security controls and control enhancements employed within or inherited by an information technology (IT) system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls in accordance with NIST 800-53.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)Manages a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.Provides full assessments of system's security posture.Evaluates and makes recommendations designed to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the security program.Review RMF Packages for completeness and technical accuracy.Perform Risk Assessment IAW with Army RMF 2.0 policy.Provides recommendations for protecting networks, workstations, servers, and assets.Perform project management duties as needed.Duties could include lead a team of cyber engineers/analysts.At COLSA, people are our most valuable resource and centered at our core value. Required Experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in related fieldMinimum of 7 years of work related experienceActive Security+CE certification or equivalentStrong written and verbal communication skills.Secret DoD Security Clearance required; US Citizenship requiredPrior experience with eMASSPrior work experience with Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework (RMF)Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in related field, or equivalent experience.Active CISSP certification or equivalent.TS/SCI clearance.Prior work experience to lead a project.
