BI Developer I
to join our Charleston based team supporting Enterprise Intelligence and Data Solutions (EIDS) . EIDS provides Health Information Technology engineering support for Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Departments, Defense Health Agency (DHA), and other DoD medical organizations.
BI I General Duties:
With support from other developers, implement data and analytic capabilities, practices, processes, standards, and procedures.Gain an understanding of the various data sources, KPI's, and reporting standards used by customers.Assisting in analysis, synthesis of analytic results, development and implementation of techniques and procedures.Management and manipulation of complex high volume health data from a variety of sources.Attend training and demos offered by senior BI Devs to further understand how to demo and field customer questions.BI I Responsibilities:
Assist in developing dashboards, reports, and dynamic web pages using Tableau, Qlik and other leading BI tools.Assist in implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Business Intelligence software.Become confident in providing technical consulting on data and analytic strategies, practices, and standards.Provides customer training in features and functionality.Improves systems by studying current practices, designing modifications.Works collaboratively with teammates and customers.Keeps current on latest BI trends and technology.BI I Required Experience:
Tableau and/or QlikView experience.Experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence development.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and with others.Understanding of statistical and analytic concepts.Proficient with HTML, JavaScript, C#, .NET, JQuery, SharePoint Designer, SQL, CAML, InfoPath (Preferred).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Detail oriented, analytical, and eagerness to work in Business Intelligence.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or 1-2 additional years of technical experience.
