The Ratings Technology Business Intelligence Platforms ART is responsible for the development, platform support, and expert services for the Ratings Business Intelligence Ecosystem: Power BI, MicroStrategy, QLIK, and Tableau supporting 3k+ users globally.The Impact:
This role ensures the Ratings Business Intelligence Ecosystem (Power BI, MicroStrategy, QLIK, and Tableau) meets the demands of our internal and external customers around the world. The role ensures and enhances the capabilities, usability, performance, and security posture of the Ratings Business Intelligence Ecosystem.What’s in it for you:Technical and Operational management of Ratings Business Intelligence EcosystemDirect exposure to Ratings Business Intelligence Platform users solving and guiding them in their actionable analytic insights requirements.Key contributor to Ratings Technology Business Intelligence Strategy regarding tooling and operations.Responsibilities:Deployment of jobs and reports onto the platforms, scheduling/orchestrating jobs, creating/modifying projects, environmental settings/configurations, etc.Manage updates and inserts of platform/job credentials to Vault.Create/clone BI platforms and reconfigure clients. Create and maintain auto-scaling configurations and security configurations for data platforms.Apply platform fixes, patches, service packs, configuration updates, and periodic maintenance as required.Stop/start services, monitor logs, set up security, assign roles, and permissions for platforms.Certificate management and renewals.What We’re Looking For:Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field and 4 years of relevant work experience.Understands database operations and optimization on traditional RBDMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres) and Data lake (Databricks, EMR) systems.Strong Business Intelligence Platform Administration experience supporting multiple BI platforms/environments with large globally distributed users (3k+).Demonstrable Business Intelligence Platform Administration experience in Power BI. Experience with MicroStrategy, QLIK, and/or Tableau is a plus.Understands data modeling and data schemas supporting OLTP and OLAP use cases.Understands data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques.Effective communication (verbal, written) skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization effectively.Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks of varying size and complexity concurrently.Experience working in an Agile environment from both a process and tooling perspective (SAFe is a plus).Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates):S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $140,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
