Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

Job Purpose & Scope:
Responsible for supporting the department by providing a wide range of loan servicing tasks associated with maintaining a commercial or commercial real estate loan portfolio.Essential Job Functions:Assists with new loan proposal submissions.
Assists with the onboarding of new loans in the Banks loan management system (LMS) and reviews and verifies all data entered into the LMS is accurate based on supporting loan documentation.
Files loan modification and property-related documents electronically.
Processes monthly debt service and reserve payments, as needed.
Processes wire requests.
Maintains property tax and insurance information, including completing periodic escrow analyses, facilitating and/or confirming the payment of real estate taxes and insurance premiums, and collecting and filing property tax and insurance policy information.
Collects, verifies and files borrower and guarantor financial statements, tax returns, credit checks and other related data.
Monitors upcoming compliance requirements (including expiring flood certifications and UCC filings) to ensure all items are processed/collected in accordance with the requirements of Bank policy and loan-related agreements.
Follows Bank policy, procedures and guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge and understanding of loan/banking terms.
Ability to multi-task and work with exacting deadlines.
Ability to work under general supervision and within a collaborative team environment.
Ability to read and interpret commercial loan documents.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to maintain attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Skill in using computer, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Bachelor degree in a job-related field, preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in loan servicing loan operations, preferred.
Minimum one (1) year of banking experience, preferred.
