SUMMARY:

We're currently seeking a Tax Manager for our Folsom, CA, Cincinnati, OH or Addison, TX offices. The Tax Manager is responsible for tax services provided to clients such as federal, state and local income tax preparation, tax projections and analysis, and notice resolution. This position will involve client-facing activities, providing comprehensive tax services to existing clients, and assisting our advisors and financial planning team with strategic tax planning.

This is a full-time, Exempt role based out of Cincinnati, OH. This position is a hybrid role if you are located near one of our offices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Apply technical knowledge to prepare and review income, estate/trust and gift tax returns and provide staff with feedbackReview situations and transactions to determine federal, state and local filing requirementsAnalyze and respond to IRS, state, and local tax agency noticesParticipate in internal strategy discussions with clients and collaborate with their financial advisorsIdentify and resolve client tax related questions and issuesExhibit strong communication skills (verbal; written; presentation) with clients, advisors, tax authorities, firm staff, and managementPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:

BS/BA Degree, accounting preferredValid CPA license6+ years individual, trust and gift tax return preparation and review experienceProficiency in income tax planning and complianceMulti-state tax preparation/filing experience preferredForm 1041 Trust & Estate and Form 709 Gift return experienceStrong Excel and other software skillsIntuit Lacerte tax software experience preferredExcellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and client service skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities, clients and tight deadlinesBENEFITS
