Job Title: Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)Purpose of the Role:Provide comprehensive financial and business analyses to support financial, general management, and manufacturing operations.Deliver actionable insights through assessments, observations, recommendations, and summaries to guide management decisions.Lead the preparation, coordination, and consolidation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans for Engineered Products, Industrial Products, and Corporate departments.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain financial models to support the consolidation of monthly manufacturing forecasts, annual financial plans, and strategic initiatives.Analyze and interpret operating results, comparing them to forecasts, budgets, and financial plans. Provide recommendations based on findings.Schedule and coordinate the manufacturing forecasting process, including manufacturing expenses, absorption, and variances.Ensure deadlines are met in the forecasting and planning processes.Advise manufacturing management on actual expenses versus forecasts and provide financial insights for decision-making.Reconcile and report weekly/monthly labor hours and manpower status to manufacturing leadership.Assist with the development of annual burden rates and analyze fixed burden manufacturing expenses for make-or-buy decisions.Complete corporate accounting tasks such as monthly closings, journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparing analytical studies for external auditors.Serve as the Capital Expenditure Administrator, overseeing CapEx requests, reviewing and recommending Appropriation Request Authorizations (ARAs), and coordinating Capital Steering Committee meetings.Administer warranty accounting functions.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA is a plus.Minimum of five years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, including cost accounting experience.Strong knowledge of accounting principles as they relate to profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and capital expenditure evaluations.Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Hyperion, Oracle, and Kronos.FP&A experience is highly preferred.
