Infrastructure Engineer 3

Job Summary:
The Infrastructure Engineer 3 will manage work packages to ensure project deliverables are met while collaborating with various IT teams.
This role requires expertise in Windows, Linux, middleware services (like Apache, Tomcat, IIS), and SQL/Oracle.
The engineer will provide Tier 3 service and performance management for mission-critical systems and will lead root cause analysis to resolve complex IT infrastructure issues.
Key Responsibilities:Manage work packages to ensure project deliverables are met through collaboration with IT Infrastructure, Network Services, Service Support, and IT Operations teams.Collaborate with Application Development and Business Unit teams to ensure client software and services are designed, tested, documented, implemented, enhanced, and maintained according to operational standards.Provide Tier 3 proactive and reactive service and performance management for mission-critical systems.Respond to real-time performance alerts to resolve performance issues.Conduct regular analysis of performance data to identify and proactively address current and potential future performance problems.Ensure proper selection and deployment of technologies and improvement of processes.Lead complex root cause analysis to identify and resolve IT infrastructure issues.Create and maintain a patch management strategy to maintain a secure computing environment.Plan, design, and manage infrastructure technologies supporting complex corporate data and voice infrastructure.Develop and manage the Project Management Database, increasing utility with reports and dashboards.Identify and implement improvements in existing processes to enhance efficiency.Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and technologies.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Computer Systems, Management, or a related field.Infrastructure analyst experience supporting technical and analytical solutions.Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, middleware services (Apache, Tomcat, IIS), and SQL/Oracle.Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple critical work assignments in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with all levels of personnel.Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with migrating infrastructures from physical to virtual environments.Familiarity with data communications and telecommunications principles.Knowledge of Azure Cloud environment.Experience working with moderately complex data and processes.
