Below is the job description :Location: Bishop, TX (Onsite)Contract: 12 months with the possibility of extensionJob Summary:A fortune 500 client is searching for an IT Support Technician to join their chemical plant in the Clear Lake area. The selected candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment, so they should be a go-getter who enjoys continuously learning and growing. Key accountabilities are as follows:Resolves Level 1/Level 2 incidents and fulfills service requests (phone, e-mail, walk-up, self-service portal) for all end users in accordance with service level targets while demonstrating the highest level of customer serviceProvisions and maintains all end-user computing equipment, such as desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripherals, in accordance with IT operations policy and proceduresEscalates incidents to the appropriate IT operations resources in accordance with established procedureMonitors open tickets for accuracy, urgency and problem resolution within prescribed Service Level AgreementsCreates and maintains document repository of fixes, installation procedures, technical tips, and other office technology processesIdentifies, researches, and assists with implementation of new technologies in accordance with IT operations policy and proceduresTracks and manages IT assets (logical and physical) in accordance with IT operations policy and proceduresQualifications:Proven experience in a technology support roleStrong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 10, Office 2016, and Internet BrowsersExcellent interpersonal skills, especially communication and presentation skillsPromotes and supports standardization and continuous improvementAbility to work independently and make decisions where necessaryFamiliarity with all components of Office 365In-Tune, ServiceNow Platforms Experience/ExposureOT Environment Exposure / Manufacturing Plant Chemical Plant experiencePreferred Qualification:A+ Certification or equivalent highly preferredExperience supporting a manufacturing plantFamiliarity with ITIL and HDI Incident Management Best PracticesFamiliarity with Wintel (Windows client and server technology), networks (Cisco preferred), anti-virus, general securityUnderstanding of Network Standards, Protocols, and Security PoliciesBitLocker Encryption experienceRegards,Zohra Khan
