The Financial Plan Design team provides consultative financial planning to our financial advisors. Looking for applicants who are a legitimate

Certified Financial Planner , as you will work closely with our network of financial advisors and our paraplanners to construct and assist in the delivery of financial plans. You will meet with the advisor via phone, email and web conference to understand the end-client's current financial condition and to communicate financial planning, advanced financial planning and application concepts. You will be primarily responsible for providing financial planning support through assisting with plan creation, analysis, and recommendation. Acute attention to detail is a must, as are effective communication skills while maintaining high levels of integrity, quality, and professionalism with a dedication to customer satisfaction and their fiduciary responsibility.

Job Responsibilities -Manage a large portfolio of outsourced planning engagements in an efficient and timely mannerResponsible for developing, optimizing, and updating financial plans using planning software provided by the firmWorking collaboratively with advisors to put finishing touches on the plans and assist in client delivery as neededRequired to stay up-to-date on the planning software and financial planning concepts. Using appropriate software and calculators to run calculations, projections, and side-by-side comparisons (e.g., mortgages, 529 plans, and social security) Work with advisory and Financial Planners to understand end-client qualitative and quantitative financial informant from advisorsCollect end-client qualitative and quantitative financial information from advisorsIndependently make financial planning recommendations to meet stated end-client financial goalsCommunicating with advanced planning consultants and other allied professionals, as needed.Marketing & promoting the service of the Financial Plan Design team.Reviewing clients' goals and risk profile with the advisorCoaching advisors to quarterback the client relationship with clients, other professionals (e.g., an attorney or CPA), as well as helping advisors focus on the strategic big picture while walking them through planning issuesReviewing clients' planning objectives to help identify opportunities to meet their needsDocuments calls using technological tools such as Salesforce.Uses organizational skills to track core customer needs.Participates in training sessions and staff meetings and sharing new knowledge with teammates.Build relationships with our advisors and help them grow and adopt financial planning in their practice.Other duties as assignedRequired Education & Licensing -

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related majorFINRA Series 7 License and 65 or 66 LicensesCFP® designation required.2-5 years' experience in the financial planning field, including the production of plansRequired Skills & Experience -

Familiarity with plan creation using financial planning software (experience with the MoneyGuide planning software a strong plus)Excellent knowledge and communication of financial planning concepts and terminologyBasic knowledge of and ability to explain products, such as mutual funds, stocks, bonds, insurance, and annuitiesProficiency with computer programs, including Microsoft Office and CRM systemsAbility to proofread and quality check own work in accordance with firm/regulatory criteriaExcellent time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlinesAbility to identify and solve problems in a timely, efficient, and effective mannerDemonstrated experience in using available resources to answer questions and resolve problemsAbility to learn and efficiently use multiple technology platformsMust be knowledgeable in common financial planning subjects (Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Investment Planning, Retirement Planning, etc.)Analytical and research-orientedTeam-oriented person who can work well with others in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple relationships and maintain high levels of client satisfactionCreative self-starter with initiative to follow throughMust be organized and handle multiple projects in an efficient mannerAbility to clearly communicate complex issues in an understandable mannerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust demonstrate strong analytical skills and research capabilities in reviewing and solving complex issuesAble to keep an even temperament and provide a pleasant service experienceProficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, ExcelMust possess an understanding of industry segment nuances to deliver tailored experiencesReliable independent judgement and decision-making skills#LI-HYBRID

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $130,000, plus competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
