Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

What does a

day-in-the-life

look like?

To direct all activities regarding shipping and receiving products to and from Hopkinsville facility

What does success look like?Direct supervision of all Product Technicians in the shipping and receiving areaTrack outbound shipmentsMonitor delivery performance of suppliersWork with freight companiesAssist in loading and unloading of trucksMonitor service part shipmentsTrack premium freightEnter material into QAD systemMonitor scrap & trash dumpstersOther duties as assignedSAFETY & QUALITY

Knowledge of handling and storage of hazardous-to-health chemicalsKnowledge of the liabilities of freight systems is a mustParticipation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem solving or other applied leadership experienceEducation

High school/GED minimumSome college preferredMust possess strong math and reading skillsSuggested Skills
