Mission/Objective
Become the Expert on Operate Presses to Develop, Audit and Improve Press Controls Standards and conduct OJT for all TMs
What does your day look like?Builds a work environment that encourages team motivation and engagementEnforce compliance with basic rules and expected behaviorsConducts On the Job Training and manage JQM processDevelop, Audit and Improve Standard Work of Press Operation ControlsDevelop, Audit, and Improve 5s Standards on each press and Rework AreasLeads Shift Start Up meetings and keeps TL Board updatedGuarantees a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and practicesEnsures BIQ through the application of quality control practices and addresses quality problems or defectsEnsure Escalation policy for Safety, Performance and QualityStrives to reach safety, quality, and productivity goalsAcademic and Experience
Proved Team Leader experience (1 Year)Experience with Metalsa Operating System: On the Job Training, Team Leader Board, Poke Yokes, Standardized Work, Work instructions, Job Safety Analysis, etc.Train the trainer certificationHigh School degree/diplomaTechnical Skills
Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving, planning, team orientation and presentation skillsComputer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point)Safety and Quality orientedGood organizational and time skillsMetalsa Operating SystemPrompt and regular attendanceExcellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitudeBasic Lean Manufacturing (TPS) Capacity to manage resources and activities in order to obtain resultsCapable of performing in a fast paced, high stressed environmentTraining and people developmentMust be willing to work overtime with little or no notice (no 2-day notice)Discipline and Accountability EnforcementAble to work any shiftWhat is in it for YOU?
