Cloud Systems Engineer.
You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to support our business objectives. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in cloud technologies and a passion for driving cloud adoption within the organization. You may work in Ogden, UT, Montgomery, AL or Mechanicsburg, PA. This is a hybrid role requiring you to work
on-site one day a week.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with or eligible for a Secret security clearance (Summit will sponsor if clearance is needed).
Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with our IT team to architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure, including implementing and automating provisioning, configuration, and orchestration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and services leveraging Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings.Monitor cloud resources and performance, implement scaling and optimization strategies.Implement Security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security controls.Design and implement disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.Collaborate with Development teams to ensure cloud applications are scalable, reliable, and performant.Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on cloud-related projects and initiatives.Experience:
Proven experience of 10 years IT experience with 3-5 years in cloud experience.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms or government cloud offerings.Experience utilizing cloud virtualization tools and utilities.Experience with serverless computing and microservices architectures.Education:
Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Certification:
IAT II or higher 8570/8140 Certification.Any Cloud CertificationSecurity Clearance:
