Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Production Support Associate - Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in York, SC.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Ensure Safety: By promptly reporting hazards and incidents, and using personal protective equipment, you'll help maintain a safe work environment and promote a culture of safety. Promote Health and Safety Culture: Encouraging your colleagues to look out for one another and engaging in HSE training will foster a culture of safety and interdependence. Maintain Quality Standards: Following standard work procedures and performing quality inspections will ensure that products meet high-quality standards. Identify and Address Quality Concerns: Raising quality concerns and addressing non-conforming materials will help minimize costs and improve overall product quality. Support Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in continuous improvement activities will enhance quality, safety, processes, and employee development. Maintain Cleanliness and Order: Keeping your work area clean and performing routine housekeeping tasks will ensure a smooth and efficient production process. Apply Best Practices: Utilizing Cummins Operating System (COS) practices and Operations Excellence (OE) methodology will help maintain high standards throughout the plant. Collaborate and Communicate: Effective communication and collaboration with your team and support staff will help maintain process performance and achieve manufacturing goals.ResponsibilitiesTo be successful in this role you will need the following: Effective Communication: Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications tailored to the unique needs of different audiences. This contributes to continuous improvement and operational excellence.Education/Experience:High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.QualificationsAdditional Information:High mechanical and electrical aptitude, both demonstrated and theoretical.Basic tool room capability.Basic maintenance repair skills.Planning and data organization skills.Excellent communication skills with operations, maintenance, and engineering staff.Problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.Compensation:Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
