Warehousing Inventory:
Track records of inbound and outbound inventory.Maintain quality control of goods, verifying incoming and outgoing temperature logs.Prepare and ensure pallet tags are correct for special request customers.Write out damage sheets for facility.Daily inventory of high-volume items.Verify all freight is labelled correctly.Receive incoming shipments of materials, supplies, and products from transfer orders and purchase orders.Verify the contents of each shipment against accompanying documentation, such as purchase orders, transfer orders, packing lists, or bills of lading.Record received goods into the inventory system and ensure accurate documentation.Generate shipping labels, documents, and invoices as required, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and guidelines.Coordinate with the Transportation department, carriers, and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.Coordinate and execute operation plan for daily loads, communicate changes to supervisors and lead personnel and notify Supervisors/Manager if trucks will not be complete within timelines.Communicate any customer specific requirements to Supervisors/Leads to ensure proper documentation on pallets and/or packing slips/BOL.Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, including aging reports.Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory shortages or surplus to relevant stakeholders.Assist in identifying opportunities to optimize inventory processes and minimize carrying costs.Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Filing of proper paperwork to support system transactions, and Food Safety initiatives, including but not limit to temperate logs, reefer check sheets, and checking in of drivers and trailers.Receive PO's/TO's on the dock; enter in ERP upon validation of accuracy.Print bill of ladings, ensure any notes are accurate for special request customers.Work with management, review inbound BOL to PO and/or TO in ERP system. Ensure product/items numbers and quantities match.Work in ERP and Excel.Daily paperwork scanning.Handling of all packages coming into the facility.Qualifications:Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and results oriented.Strong time management and organization skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Energetic, self-starter, resourceful problem solver.Ability to read and understand orders/pick tickets.
