High School Diploma or equivalentStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office is requiredForklift certification and the ability to pass testing are requiredProven strong organizational skillsDemonstrate strong teamwork skills and contribute positively to team activitiesApply problem-solving abilities in a continuous improvement environmentAdhere to and maintain all customer quality standardsConsistently meet or exceed daily production goals as outlined in departmental proceduresPrior experience in shipping and receiving is preferredSolid understanding of warehousing, inventory management, and shipping/receiving procedures is preferredWhat You'll Do as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Prepare and verify records of incoming materials and equipment, updating supplier open orders and notifying departments of received packagesEstablish and maintain accurate, auditable records for all receipts and shipmentsAssist with loading and unloading trucks, including forklift operation and lifting packagesInput, update, and monitor shipment and disposition data in the system to ensure customer requirements are metCoordinate and conduct physical inventories and cycle counts as scheduledPrepare accurate bills of lading, dray tickets, and shipping documentsPerform other tasks as assigned
