Cozen O’Connor has an excellent opportunity for an Estate Planning Assistant with strong Estate Planning experience in our Boca Raton office.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter, who is able to multi-task under time constraints with exceptional attention to detail, take initiative, think strategically and independently and interact with all levels of the firm.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Finalize draft documents to send to clients for review.
Prepare documents in final for client signature.
Prepare and send copies of documents requested by clients and advisors.
Prepare correspondence as requested for transmittal of documents.
Assist Paralegals and attorneys with various projects
Processes original signed documents by binding originals for clients, converting documents to PDF format, linking files to the database, preparing dockets, uploading documents to Citrix ShareFile, preparing letters to clients and original receipts
Record a variety of documents through E-recording website
Other tasks as assigned to support the estate planning department
Perform clerical related duties such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, filing and collating.
Various errands, deliveries to post office, answers phones, processes mail, and orders USPS and FedEx supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
2-4 years of related experience in Estate planning.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Must have strong multitasking skills.
A ‘Can-do’ attitude
Extensive experience with Word and Excel.
Knowledge of Florida E-Filing portal.
Good working knowledge of office equipment i.e., copy machines, printers, fax machines, scanners, computers and Microsoft Office software.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
