Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate.Some of what you will do

Plan, direct and evaluate all nursing functions and patient care provided in compliance with ESH's policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations.Allocate nursing resources based on patient acuity and care needs within ESH; plan, organize, and direct nursing staff; administer patient medications and treatments.Collaborate and communicate with all levels of staff who assist in-patient care, management, and conflict resolution; evaluate patient care delivery system and perform audits.Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards and perform key leadership functions for nursing within CFS.Respond to and formulate complex reports; regularly consult with Operations Director to facilitate patient care and staffing issues.Assure all nursing documentation is in compliance with standards, treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment.Interview and make recommendations for new nursing staff hires.Direct, motivate, supervise, and evaluate employees' performance; investigate staff and patient concerns.Conduct regularly scheduled nursing staff meetings, meet with supervisors on the different shifts, and provide consistent messages about vision, mission, and standards of care within the discipline and the hospital.We are looking for leaders who are collaborative, authentic, can communicate a vision, and can manage risk to join our team of professionals and help us deliver treatment to our 300+ residents. As the leader of your department, you will establish workflows, align policies and procedures with best practices in the medical field, and most importantly, consistently communicate with your team of nursing professionals.Who should apply

Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing, with a valid Washington State Registered Nurse license or the ability to obtain one by the start of employment.And, four years of professional nursing experience. This includes two years in a lead capacity over other nursing personnel, or one year of full-time experience teaching nursing and one year in a lead capacity over other nursing personnel.*A Bachelor's degree or higher degree involving a major study in nursing may be substituted for 2 years of non-supervisory experience.Interested?
