Minimum Qualifications:

The Senior Media Manager leads integrated media strategy, planning, and buying for Prime Video Brand and Live Sports. They obsess over the customer and bring deep expertise in developing audience-led media strategies and translating these into actionable plans, anchored in a deep understanding of the media landscape. Responsibilities include touchpoint mix identification to deliver intended audience reach, tactical partner and placement selection to align with creative messaging strategy, and adjustments for the duration of the campaign to deliver against intended objectives and key performance indicators.
The successful Senior Media Manager is a blended balance of media strategist, project manager, relationship builder, and analyst. They are comfortable working autonomously, yet effective at partnering cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders across PVUS marketing, sports marketing, creative production, finance, international and other Amazon marketing teams to develop audience engagement strategies.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic partner between creative marketing and agencies to develop creative, effective and holistic media strategies for our marketing campaigns grounded in audience insights.
Develop a data-informed perspective on audience opportunity and prioritization for media, gaining alignment with internal teams.
Lead planning on assigned brand campaigns, including HVEs (High Velocity Events) such as Prime Day.
Lead planning on assigned live sports campaigns, driving tune-in.
Set campaign media goals and KPIs and devise strategies to achieve and measure them.
Contribute to Go to Market Plan narratives that outline audience-led media strategies and present clear and concise recommendations to senior marketing and business leaders.
Manage budgets and timelines for media campaigns.
Prepare forecasts and performance reports that monitor key media metrics, quality, and campaign performance.
Interface directly with media partners to develop new programs and foster relationships.
Seek and evaluate strategic media opportunities and serve as a thought-leader on new and innovative ways to reach and connect with our customers.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
