Responsible for service delivery with public and private cloud environments. The position will focus on infrastructure as a service which involves compute, storage and network elements.

The Sr. Technical Consultant working on the Hosted Services team would be focused on architecting and implementing various IT Infrastructure technologies as mentioned below with an emphasis on design, implementations for new and existing clients, migration and configuration of new infrastructure as a service solutions, verbose documentation of projects or task and other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain server and system uptime SLAsServer reporting and alert managementMaintain certifications with technology partnersTroubleshooting customer issues in an urgent fashionInstall and implement systems and solutionsPost-sales technical follow-upsCustomer remote support (primary)Ensure proper tracking of work orders and incidents through an electronic help desk systemProblem management and resolution of issues in a timely mannerPrioritization of tasks and meeting of deadlines, excellent time management skillsExcellent troubleshooting and assessment skillsExcellent written/verbal communication skillsMust be a team player with outstanding customer service skillsThe ability to mentor and guide peers and assist teammates when skill set requiresEntry of timesheets, expense reports and documentation on or before deadlineKeep up-to-date on market trends, theory and new ways of doing things; embrace changeAssist with change-management activitiesPrepare and deliver complete and concise documentation for all projectsPresent progress reports to immediate supervisor and or Project Manager (if so assigned)Manage multiple large scale projects in a fast paced environmentQuickly turn business problems into technical solutionsParticipate in on-call schedule serving as one of the highest levels of escalation for network and security issues.Education/Experience/Certifications

Associate's Degree required (Bachelor's Degree preferred)10+ years hands-on IT experienceCertifications

Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent (Required)Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent desiredZerto Certification desiredVeeam Certification desired

Areas of Expertise

Practical operational and design expertise with AzureDesign architecture of private/hybrid/public cloud architecturesMigration of workloads to public cloud environmentsTroubleshooting public cloud security, instances, database servicesProvisioning of cloud resources securely and ensuring data protection/backup/replicationWorking knowledge of cloud storage, design and protectionWorking knowledge of Windows Server and Domain Services 2016 and higher is requiredExpert level experience with VMware ESXi 6.x is a plusExperience with vCloud Director is a plusExperience with Zerto DRaaS is a plusExperience with Veeam is a plusIntermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with Windows desktop and servers is requiredBasic knowledge and experience with Linux based operating systems such as RedHat, Ubuntu, Fedora, Gentoo and SUSEMust demonstrate understanding of TCP/IP including layer 2/3 VLANsAbility to troubleshoot IP networksIntermediate to expert knowledge and experience with monitoring and assessment of system utilization, network performance and capacity planning

Advanced to expert knowledge and understanding of all layers of the OSI modelBasic to advanced knowledge and experience in automation including scripting, scheduled tasks, work flow design, mass deployment of software, etc.Basic to advanced knowledge of data loss prevention
