We are seeking a skilled Sub Arc Welder to join our team. The role involves performing high-quality welds on 1' pipe and transitioning to Sub Arc welding upon successful completion of on-site testing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and ready to transition from training on the day shift to working the night shift.Qualifications:Experience in concrete cutting or similar field a plus.Ability to operate different concrete saws, with a focus on safety.Good physical condition, able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.Effective communicator and team player.
Responsibilities :Operate concrete saws and drilling equipment safely and accurately during assigned tasks.Read and interpret job specifications to prepare precise cutting lines on concrete materials.Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.Adhere to safety standards and protocols throughout all job activities.Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.Successfully pass a 3G MIG/Fluxcore weld test and complete an on-site Sub Arc test once hired.
Skills Required :Experience in concrete cutting, welding, or similar field is a plus.Proficiency in operating various types of concrete saws with a strong focus on safety.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in different weather conditions.Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and the ability to uphold safety and quality standards.
