Job Overview:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the technology project teams to ensure the successful delivery & deployment to the Company brands. This role encompasses strategic planning & oversight, execution management, communications, & overall alignment between functional & technical areas of the Company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, distributed users, and people management, with a proven track record of driving results in a rapidly growing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables, and keep them informed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources, including team members, tools, and budgets, to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance to achieve project goals.
• Communication Management: Establish clear communication channels and ensure consistent, timely, and transparent communication among all project stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee project quality by implementing standards, conducting reviews, and ensuring deliverables meet the required specifications and expectations.
• Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures, manage the budget, and ensure that the project remains within financial constraints.
• Project Tracking and Reporting: Track project progress against the plan, manage deviations, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Change Management: Manage and control project scope changes, ensuring that any adjustments are thoroughly assessed, approved, and documented.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors or partners, ensuring their deliverables align with project timelines and quality standards.
• Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project reviews to assess project performance, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for future projects.
• Technology Steering Committee: develop materials to report out project status of key initiatives to the TSC. Participate in the meeting from time to time & present updates on strategic projects.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role in a PM or PMO leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience working with a decentralized business units & willingness to travel up to 25% are required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Jira, Asana, Microsoft Office 365 and/or related tools.
• Certifications in Project Management, Change Management or CM&AA a plus
$90,000 - $100,000 a year
