Mig/Tig Welder

Our client in New Kensington, PA is searching for experienced welders to add to their manufacturing team.Job Description/Responsibilities:* Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine specifications.* Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.* Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.* Make adjustments to welding equipment as needed to achieve optimal results.* Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding, including grinding and sanding.* Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including wearing appropriate protective gear.Job RequirementsJob Requirements:* High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification preferred.* Proven experience as a MIG/TIG Welder, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.* Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques with a strong understanding of welding materials and processes.* ASME or AWS qualifications highly preferred* Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.* Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to welding operations.* Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
