Certifications: BLS and RRT Must-Have: - Adult Critical Care- Emergency Department experience- Pediatrics- Airway Management Devices/Suctioning- Bronchoscopy- Medication Administration- Medication Delivery Systems- Nebulizer- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)- BiPAP, Flow-by- CPAP- Troubleshooting high pressure alarms- Assist in high-risk delivery- CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP- ABG interpretation Job Description: - Provide respiratory therapy to patients in a variety of settings, including critical care and emergency departments.- Perform airway management and assist with bronchoscopies.- Administer medications and use medication delivery systems effectively.- Set up and manage devices such as nebulizers, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, and CPAP.- Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms on respiratory equipment.- Assist in high-risk deliveries, utilizing expertise in CPAP and BIPAP.- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).- Optional duties include pediatric critical care, operating high-frequency ventilators, ECMO, and possibly acting as charge therapist depending on experience.- Comply with mandatory flu vaccination policy-no exemptions. - Must complete required modules for orientation, estimated at 28 hours. *Note: Modules are partially non-billable and may be completed before and during orientation.*
