Certifications: BLS and RRT Must-Have: - Adult Critical Care - Emergency Department experience - Pediatrics - Airway Management Devices/Suctioning - Bronchoscopy - Medication Administration - Medication Delivery Systems - Nebulizer - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - BiPAP, Flow-by - CPAP - Troubleshooting high pressure alarms - Assist in high-risk delivery - CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP - ABG interpretation Job Description: - Provide respiratory therapy to patients in a variety of settings, including critical care and emergency departments. - Perform airway management and assist with bronchoscopies. - Administer medications and use medication delivery systems effectively. - Set up and manage devices such as nebulizers, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, and CPAP. - Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms on respiratory equipment. - Assist in high-risk deliveries, utilizing expertise in CPAP and BIPAP. - Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs). - Optional duties include pediatric critical care, operating high-frequency ventilators, ECMO, and possibly acting as charge therapist depending on experience. - Comply with mandatory flu vaccination policyno exemptions. - Must complete required modules for orientation, estimated at 28 hours. Note: Modules are partially non-billable and may be completed before and during orientation.
