Senior Analyst, Global Tax
Location: Atlanta, GA (Midtown)
Work style: 5 days/wk in office with 40 flex days/yr
Position Summary:
The Global Tax Senior Analyst will be a key member of a dynamic corporate tax team, responsible for performing a range of tasks including contributing to the ASC 740 tax provision process for the international subsidiaries, supporting the US and international direct tax compliance processes, and assisting with transfer pricing reporting. In addition, when time allows, this position will support global tax planning and other special projects. The role requires the ability to partner closely various teams, including finance and accounting. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, responsive, flexible and can handle multiple projects while producing accurate and timely results.
Key Areas of Responsibility:Assist with quarterly and annual worldwide income tax provisionsPrepare/Review provision-to-return adjustmentsRecord journal entries as needed to general ledgerProvide support for preparation of US and foreign income tax returnsForecast, initiate, and track foreign cash tax payments and refundsPrepare quarterly transfer pricing analysisPrepare/Review transfer pricing documentationPerform quarterly Pillar 2 analysis for worldwide groupAssist in analysis, research, and documentationAssist with special tax projectsSupport tax process documentation and SOX controlsPrepare/Review income tax account reconciliationsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting plus 1-3 years corporate tax experienceBasic understanding of accounting for income taxesFamiliarity general ledger systems and processesAbility to communicate effectively with global teamAbility to work in a collaborative environment
