Overview:
Encantado Technical Solutions (ETS) is an unpopulated joint venture between Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc. and ECS Federal, LLC. ETS is bolstered by second-tier subcontractors KeyLogic and Amentum. As ETS is unpopulated, employees will work for one of the four companies listed above.Encantado is seeking a Windows System Administrator to support the IT program at a major national laboratory.Responsibilities:Provision, configure, and manage physical and virtual servers, as well as the software that runs on the servers and the hardware that supports them.Install and troubleshoot IT resources, establish and manage user accounts, upgrade and patch software, and perform backup and recovery tasks.Assist with the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based.Assist with the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.Familiar with network automation, monitoring, orchestration, troubleshooting, and provisioning tools such as Solarwinds, InMon products, Statseeker, AKIPS, Gigamon products, application performance management products, and network performance management products.Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.Active DOE Q clearance desired, but in all events must have ability to be cleared at the Top Secret (TS) or DOE Q level and the ability to maintain clearance throughout the life of the contract.Associate's degree plus 4 years relevant experience, or seven (7) years' relevant experience.Minimum 2 years Windows server experience in current and new versions of the Windows Server Operating system.Experience with installation, configuration and maintaining Windows Server Operating Systems on physical and virtual hardware
Experience above will include the following tasks and abilities:Maintaining Active Directory topology and configuring Group Policy Object managementManaging virtual environmentsInstalling and integrating applications and softwareRestoring data and re-configure systemsDetect, identify and troubleshoot system software and hardware problemsAnalyze system faults, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic tests on operating systems and hardware to detect problemsImplementing cyber policies
