Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Job Title: Registered Nurse (Endoscopy)Location: Rochester, NY 14626Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)Duration: 13 weeksJob Description:The Endoscopy RN will provide expert care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal (GI) and endoscopic procedures in a fast-paced environment. The RN will assist with advanced endoscopic procedures, monitor patient vitals, and collaborate closely with the healthcare team.Key Responsibilities:Provide nursing care for patients during GI and endoscopy procedures, including advanced endoscopic procedures.Administer sedation and monitor patients during and post-procedure.Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient care.Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting.Participate in on-call rotations.Required Certifications for the Endoscopy RN Position:RN licenseBLS (Basic Life Support) - RequiredACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Preferred but may be required depending on the facility's policyRequirements:Advanced procedure experience in GI/Endoscopy required.Epic charting experience is preferred.Ability to work on-call shifts.Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted).
